Great food, this place is awesome. I had the haddock, crispy batter and tender inside. The seafood linguini was full of flavour. Tried one of the local beers and it was refreshing. Nice patio and plenty of seating options inside. The server was courteous and friendly. We will definitely come back for more.
Best fish and chips. The scallops are awesome too. Never been disappointed here. Highly recommend. Great location right alongside the water. Beautiful spot for an occasion, or just a nice night out.
Staff was extremely friendly, and the owner was very hospitable. The steak was extremely tough and difficult to eat the cut of meat seems that it was not the cut that was advertised on the menu. Perhaps this is what I get for ordering steak at a seafood restaurant. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious as well as the biscuits.
It just opened back up after a 6 month renovation. LOTS of staff on hand. The menu is easy to read. The food was delicious. Awesome clam chowderPortion size was very good. Prices are comparable to high end seafood restaurants.
The Boathouse House is BACK!It's taken sometime, there were some hiccups, but the boathouse is back to what it was if not better.Food is properly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere even greater than I remember.I was there for dinner a few weeks back and saw customer service at its best. There was a couple from Germany who, from what I could translate, privately spoke about how good the meal was. What was amazing though was the waiter. She took the time to ask them how to say certain things, shared her family history with them, and you could see how these two travelers began to feel like they were in a restaurant 1/4 way around the world, but at home visiting with family.This staff member went more than above and beyond and it was amazing to see.Previous Review: 4/5 The Boathouse I remember
