This breakfast place is absolutely fantastic. We were driving through the area and I was looking for somewhere to stop for brunch and saw that Eggsquis had great reviews, and boy were they right on! The food was delicious and it was quite nice that they leave a pot of coffee on every table. The best part though was the service. Our server was incredibly friendly and very responsive to our table. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
It reminded me of Cora's but 3x better. It was pretty busy for a Monday brunch but they sat us down right away. The food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive which we felt was long but considering how busy they were, it was totally understandable. The service was great though, I lost an earing and both the host and the server started looking for it as soon as I mentioned it. I had to tell them to stop because it wasn't even an important piece of jewelery. The food was great! The options were plenty and we even took some to go since it was a huge serving. I wish they had a franchise in Toronto. We will definitely visit again when in the area.
Food was perfectly prepared, even my childs grilled cheese wasnt TOO hot so he ate it right away. Happy child happy parents! The menu is extensive but in the right creative direction... tasty, familiar, and well combined, not bizarre or overly experimental. The choices hit all the major cravings... sweet, savory, light or more filling, indulgent with cheeses or with sweets, and even a dedicated menu for those who want the Best of Both... that was a first for me! Be prepared for it being busy at the main times, this is a popular place!
Downgrading to a 3. Consistency is important for me and while usually great, we waited way too long. The table beside us that was sat after ate before us. Wasn't the worst experience but over an hour is too long for breakfast.August edit. Picking up service and quality again
I have never been so impressed by a breakfast place. The menu is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. The fact that they give you your own carafe of coffee is great. The crepe options are great and the eggs were perfect. There was nothing wrong with it at all. I literally am looking for reasons to go to Belleville now!
