This has something for everyone. Lots of parking and it's free. Clean place and has shopping and food choices for the whole family. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.
Not sure if it's all malls these days, but this mall seems especially dead most of the time. Many if the stores are similar to each other. (Lots of jewelry stores, tons of clothing stores, endless shoe stores), with little variety. My daughter loves coming to the mall during winter time to see the trains, Santa, and the big Bear. I love coming because of Starbucks and sushi. It's well air conditioned in the summer and well heated in the winter. I always give it a second shot, and still come often, but there is just a very large lack of something and I can't quite put my finger on it. Has free wifi with a good signal though.
Needs more upscale clothing stores. There's enough jewellery stores.... The mall needs a facelift. And having another Designer Depot where Sears used to be is useless. We need quality clothing outlets and a range of styles. I feel like all the stores keep recycling and borrowing from each other.
For a smaller city this is a good sized mall with more than the essential stores. You can find pretty much everything here such from clothes to sporting goods to grocery basics. Excellent place to stop to stretch your legs if your driving a long piece on the 401 as it is right at the exit. Some of the stores are not attached to the inside of the mall which can be annoying if the weather is cruddy. But overall worth it.
Right off the 401 I find that its a good place to stop when driving from Montreal to Toronto. Has a decent food court with many options as well as a number of stores including winners and EB games.
