Talks down to my mentally handicapped son, sends him away from school, doesn't include us in important meetings, makes exceutive decisions without consulting us. If you love your child please don't send them here. For your mental health and your child's.
I have a special needs son who attends here. Great school, caring teachers and I have never had any issues. No experiences with bully's, harassment and my son loves it there. Me as a parent gives it a thumbs up.
If I could give this school zero stars I would. It isn't any wonder it was rated the worst school in ALL of Ontario!
Bias Review: Let it be known I have worked here for 6+ years. I have also read all the review and feel strongly against the poor rating here is why:1. I have been a teacher for 12+ years and truely know qualities that make up a great school and those that don't. Over half the staff have children that attend Park Dale. Do you really think TEACHERS would have their children attend such a horribly described school.2. Similar to the dynamics of 'leadership' to the south. The Leader of a destination has great influence over the reputation of the location. In the past we have had questionable leadership this current Principal is exceptional. 3. Look at the pavement. How many schools have you seen with this cool outside games.4. We run all the sports, and Chess.5. 80% of the staff show up for school fun fairs! 6. Multiple school run events throughout the year, Math nights, Reading nights, guest speakers, ski trips. All qualities of amazing schools.7. Lastly, ask a teacher friend for their personal perspective of Park Dale. WE have an amazing reputation by guest teachers, visiting guests and Teachers alike. Anyone can post anonymous reviews when angry. These are the facts, just ask me.
I have a son who attends Park Dale and he loves being a Panther. The school prides itself on being a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment and I would say it is all of these things. My son transferred to Park Dale from another school and he was welcomed with open arms immediately. The staff are incredible, the student body is respectful/caring and the admin & support staff are phenomenal. The atmosphere is always upbeat. It is a amazing school that always puts students and families first. I cant wait to have my daughter attend the on-sight daycare and eventually transfer into Kindergarten at this school! Go Panthers Go!
