Great place to enjoy the waterfront. Would recommend you visiting during the Christmas light show in December. Always bigger and better each and every year.
Nice little park to stop in at and sit for a while. Enjoy a great view of the Bay of Quinte while you rest on one of the benches, the continue hiking the waterfront trail. Plenty of birds (ducks, swans, cormorants and gulls) to watch and lots of boats on the water depending on tue season
Very well maintained public park space. Lovely views of the harbor area and the lake. Parking was ample and free at the time of visit (June 2018). Would suggest walking the entire section from Meyer's Pier down to the George Street boat launch, and treat yourself to an ice cream / beverage / hot dog at the kiosk. Pleasant wildlife waterfowl viewing, without the sometimes troublesome Canadian Geese that other waterside parks have.
Such a lovely canopy of trees.. offering the perfect amount of shade over the modern, spacious, playground. A beautiful spot for a picnic. A proper bathroom facility is suggested.
Area for peace and quiet. Birds and butterflies. Picnic tables. Lovely flower gardens.
