This review is based on using this firm for buying/selling real estate.We acquired the services of Pretsell Davies Thomson Benton based on a recommendation from someone else, not necessarily based on our own research, and in the end we regretted that decision. Funny enough, Ive spoken to several other people whove had similar negative experiences similar to mine. If youre looking for a firm that doesnt return phone calls, doesnt return emails, doesnt confirm information with other parties when absolutely necessary in real estate (ie. Insurance company), makes numerous typos in legal documents with wrong names and addresses, claims to mail out documents that you never receive (but cant provide the original mailed documents for whatever reason) this is your firm!This isnt the first time weve dealt with lawyers to complete a real estate transaction, so comparing this experience to the other, this was by far the most frustrating transaction we had to deal with. Although I understand that it can get busy running a firm with numerous transactions at once, it was the complete lack of professionalism and attention to detail that really made this experience a dreadful one. Avoid avoid avoid. Do your research and find a firm that pretends to care at least, as this one didn't even try.
